These high-end and specialized cameras utilize modern CMOS and ­sCMOS ­sensors, combined with high-bandwidth USB3, Thunderbolt and PCIe interfaces. Among Ximea's core competencies, you will find the smallest form factors around any given sensor package, robust housings, high-speed interfaces with low latencies, power-efficiency, and versatile implementation options.

A 50/50 mix of OEM solutions and series production guarantees innovative and technology driven projects, together with a reliable supply and support. It's camera technologies allow the customers to make their applications possible, or to elevate their products into new levels.

Together with the client, Ximea is facing all specific requirements and solves individual challenges, not only with standard products but also with modifications or full custom designs. The latest innovations include tiny USB3 cameras, PCIe streaming cameras (high-speed, ultra-resolution 8K and beyond, large sensor formats), cooled scientific and hyperspectral imaging cameras, X-Ray and a multi-camera platforms for high-bandwidth applications.
