AT - Automation Technology opens office in Boston
With the new branch in the USA, AT wants to expand its network in the USA and strengthen sales and support for its customers locally.
The location in the Boston metropolitan area will be managed by Gretchen Alper, who already has many years of experience in the field of machine vision. She was jointly responsible for the successful business development of a Dutch company in North America for almost two decades.
The choice of Boston was not made haphazardly: “The city is not too far away in terms of time zone differences. But mainly there are many companies that are active in the field of optics or image processing. That means numerous potential business and production partners for AT. There are also numerous universities in the region, so there is always a large supply of talented people who are interested in the industry and who we can inspire for our company as future new employees," explains Alper.
