Bachmann achieved record sales of €108 million in fiscal year 2024, an increase of 3.8 percent over the previous year. Over a five-year period (2019-2024), the company recorded a 54 percent increase in sales. Despite challenges in the European mechanical engineering industry, Bachmann was able to expand particularly in the areas of renewable energies and maritime applications. The company has made significant advances in energy management, including battery and hydrogen technologies, as well as in autonomous shipping and sustainable ship operation concepts.

Dr. Beat Rünzler, CAO of Bachmann, highlights the challenge of rising costs in Europe, particularly in personnel costs and IT security. CEO Bernhard Zangerl criticizes the increasing regulatory requirements of the EU, which slow down companies. Bachmann is planning a cautious growth course for 2025 in view of unpredictable global conditions, but remains optimistic and intends to take full advantage of new opportunities.
