Change of leadership at Zebra Technologies
Bill Burns becomes the new CEO. His predecessor Anders Gustafsson is appointed Executive Chair of the Zebra Board of Directors.


Bill Burns, Zebra's Chief Product & Solutions Officer, will become the company's next CEO and a member of the Zebra Board of Directors. Anders Gustafsson will step down from his role as CEO and become Executive Chair of the Zebra Board of Directors. The leadership change will take effect on March 1, 2023.
Burns has more than 30 years of experience in the technology sector and has served in his current role as Chief Product & Solutions Officer for nearly five years. During that time, he has grown Zebra's market share and profitability in its core businesses, penetrating adjacent and expanding markets, executing the company's enterprise asset intelligence vision and strengthening Zebra's strategic relationships with its customers and partners.
After 15 years as Zebra's CEO, Anders Gustafsson has been appointed Executive Chair at the top of the Zebra Board of Directors.
