Cooperation as a recipe for success

With JustLaser, Teka secures additional market share in Germany, Austria and Switzerland

14.10.2021 - First year of intensive cooperation successfully completed – JustAir-Teka units complement JustLaser products to create a custom-fit package solution.

“Using lasers is child’s play with us” – Alexandra Kutos, owner of the young company JustLaser in Thalheim near Wels in Upper Austria, explains what is also expressed in the English interpretation of the company name. The family-owned company specializes in laser systems that can be used to engrave, cut and mark a wide variety of materials such as metals, wood, acrylics, plastics or textiles in a wide range of commercial and industrial applications. The recipe for success: Development in Austria and Germany, high-quality product components from the USA or Taiwan, software from Germany, an experienced team of employees with expertise and Teka as a professional cooperation partner for the extraction field.

The company went to market in the middle of the 2020 spring lockdown. At the end of the first business year, both cooperation partners can report positively that the target figures were achieved even in the year of the Corona crisis. “We are very pleased about this successful cooperation which allows us to expand our presence in Austria, but also in Switzerland, and in this way also to secure further market shares in Germany,” says Teka managing director Erwin Telöken, adding: “JustLaser is excellently positioned with its product portfolio.”

JustLaser also confirms this after an intensive year of co-operation. “Teka is a strong partner that enjoys an excellent reputation with its experience and professionalism. In this way, we can bring the topic of extraction closer to our customers in the best possible way. The high-quality standards, the reliability and the wide product range, allowing us to always find the right unit for our system in terms of price-performance, convinced us right from the start,” explains managing director Georg Lauscha. In addition, JustLaser benefits from OEM manufacturing.

Suitable extraction solution in a package

JustLaser 6.4., JustAirBase, JustLaser 7.5, Smart 10.6, Pro – these are the names of the bestsellers that 25 employees, each with more than ten years of industry experience, have been selling most frequently for the past year. They offer a lot of flexibility for processing wood, acrylic, plastics, aluminum and much more.  The target groups in the sales markets are deliberately heterogeneous: small engravers, carpenters, stonemasons and metalworking companies, as well as major customers from a wide range of industrial sectors, are among the customers.

‘JustAir’ – under this independent branding of its cooperation partner, Teka makes its complete product portfolio available. The coordinated Teka units safely and reliably extract the smoke and fumes produced during laser processing. Teka has made all the necessary adjustments, e.g. to interfaces, for the trouble-free interaction of laser and extraction units.

“The package solution has proven itself. We offer every customer coordinated laser and extraction solutions including advice and service from a single source,” says the JustLaser managing director.

Growing together

JustLaser is an agile company that strives for sustainable and value-oriented growth. The international expansion course is being implemented through planned acquisitions. Teka also already guarantees supply security for the aspired ‘world market leader’ goal, among other things through increased storage capacities. “At our new headquarters and production site in Coesfeld, we have also set the course for flexibility and growth, so that we can safely keep pace with higher quantities in the future.”
