EMVA: The newly elected Board of Directors meets for the first time
At last, pandemic rules made it possible for the elected board members to gather for a constituent meeting on August 4 and 5, 2021, at the EMVA member Zeiss Automated Inspection Systems' facilities. Of course, everyone is double-vaccinated, the EMVA emphasizes.

Already on June 1, 2021, the EMVA General Assembly elected the new EMVA Board of Directors. At the beginning of August, the members were finally able to come together for the constituent meeting to, among other things, allocate the board roles:
Dr. Chris Yates (Vision Ventures) continues to lead the EMVA as President, Prof. Bernd Jähne (University of Heidelberg) serves as Vice President, and Arndt Bake (Basler) oversees the finances as Treasurer.
