GTM is modernizing the Bickenbach site
GTM has completed the first conversion phase at its company headquarters in Bickenbach
First stage of the conversion completed: In addition to the administrative departments, order acquisition, product management and marketing as well as customer success management now work in completely modernized premises with contemporary, ergonomic furniture.
GTM had already invested in its production site in Bickenbach and in IT in recent years. With the current conversion work, GTM is continuing to modernize the office space. In addition to the renovated and redesigned offices for the management, there are also new, modern rooms for the departments of product management & marketing, human resources, order acquisition and customer success management. In the next step that will soon follow, the development division will also receive newly equipped offices. In addition, another wing of the company building is planned as a lavishly designed lounge area, as a social space for the entire GTM team with space for encounters and working together. Furthermore, the installation of a photovoltaic system on the company roof was commissioned. By mid-2023, it will be supplying electricity to both the company building and the charging stations for e-vehicles that have been installed by then.

The "restructuring" at GTM is also progressing in other respects: the company has gradually switched the sales channels from the classic field service - representatives visiting customers on site - towards digital distribution channels. When the website was relaunched in spring 2021, the focus was already on designing the digital customer journey in such a way that users can find information about the numerous products and services that belong to the GTM portfolio quickly and directly. Newly developed online tools such as the configurator for force transducers from the K and RF series (already in preparation for other products) consistently continue along this path. The advancing digitization even creates new employee roles, such as that of the Customer Success Manager (CSM), who focuses fully on the satisfaction and success of the customer - a kind of "customer happiness maker".
