Kimsoptec renames to Instrument Systems Korea

03.05.2023 - After being acquired in 2022, the Korean manufacturer of display measurement systems changed its name.

After the acquisition of Kimsoptec Co Ltd by Instrument Systems in August 2022 and the successful integration into the group, the Korean manufacturer of display measurement systems trade as Instrument Systems Korea Co Ltd since April 1, 2023. CEO is Dr Markus Ehbrecht, CEO of Instrument Systems since 2014. He is supported by managing directors Dr Jin Sung Kim, founder and former owner of Kimsoptec, and Jürgen Tiepermann, CFO of Instrument Systems. With currently 44 employees, Instrument Systems Korea will continue to produce and sell its own products under the name Kimsoptec Line. A close cooperation with Instrument Systems is planned in the areas of sales, service and development.

Founded in 2005 Kimsoptec has been the partner of choice to consult in the field of optical display measurement systems in Korea. The company successfully supplies display test systems to many important Korean display manufacturers and system integrators.

As Instrument Systems Korea, the company now distributes and services the complete Instrument Systems portfolio, providing respective technical consultation. With 44 employees (as of March 2023), it has strong engineering capabilities and operates a manufacturing site for products and systems in the field of light measurement technology, supplementing the Instrument Systems product portfolio.

Through its sales channels, Instrument Systems Korea successfully addresses system integrators and manufacturers within the supply chain of the big players in the ICT market and also major key accounts of Instrument Systems.
