Lapp acquires Chinese cable manufacturer
Cableforce, a specialist in circular connectors based in Dongguan City, will be integrated into the company's global network as a wholly owned subsidiary.

The Lapp Group has acquired Cableforce Electronics Co., Limited, effective June 1, 2025. Matthias Lapp emphasizes that Cableforce's market position and engineering expertise complement Lapp's existing offering, which will benefit customers worldwide.
Lapp has been active in China for over two decades and continuously invests in research, development, and manufacturing as part of its local-for-local strategy. China remains an important growth market for the company. Cableforce employs over 100 people. Financial details of the acquisition have not been disclosed.
