Partnering up to represent the photonics community

PhotonicsViews chosen as official publishing medium for Photonics Germany – Spectaris and OptecNet Deutschland – and DGaO

During the past few weeks, representatives of the three German associations Spectaris – German Industry Association for Optics, Photonics, Analytical & Medical Technologies – and OptecNet Germany – Innovation Networks Optical Technologies – the two founding members of the Photonics Germany alliance, and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für angewandte Optik DGaO – the German Branch of the European Optical Society – have held extensive talks with Wiley’s Physics/Photonics Department about establishing or intensifying the existing informal co-operation.

Through ratification, the associations have chosen PhotonicsViews as their official publishing medium to issue society information to their respective members and to use the impact generated by this collaboration to pursue their mission.

Therefore, beginning with the April/May issue 2/2021, members of the named associations will receive PhotonicsViews as part of their membership and are encouraged even more to contact the editorial office to evaluate ways of supporting their communicative needs: photonicsviews@wiley.com
