Smart Vision Lights appoints Nick Doornbos as sales director

03.02.2023 - In March 2022, Nick Doornbos became transitional sales director for Smart Vision Lights. Now the lighting manufacturer has officially promoted him to this position.

Nick assumed the sales director role on an interim basis in March 2022. "He has shown a tremendous ability to grow and manage our sales team, work with our partners and guide and lead the customer service team here in North America," said Dave Spaulding, president and CEO of Smart Vision Lights. "Nick has strengthened our promises we make to our customers; to deliver the best products available at the best value on time and to continuously improve our service to our customers. There is no doubt that he will help us grow even further in the years to come."

Doornbos joined Smart Vision Lights in April 2021 as business development manager for the Midwest United States. He brings nearly a decade of experience in engineering manufacturing, automation and sales support, and is well-versed in the various challenges of developing automated systems for industrial inspection.

"I am honored to be a part of the most innovative machine vision lighting company in the industry. This role excites me as I’ll have the opportunity to work on a broader scale with our customers through our salespeople," said Doornbos. "I’ll have the ability to hear the voice of the customer throughout several markets and regions in the vision industry and continually hone our product and services to best serve our customers in this quickly changing and growing industry."

Doornbos holds a bachelor's degree in business administration with a concentration in marketing from Davenport University.
