Wenglor was named a finalist in the "Grand Prize for Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises". This competition, organized by the Oskar Patzelt Foundation since 1994, annually honors outstanding small and medium-sized companies in Germany. The motto for 2024 was "With confidence towards the future." Wenglor was selected from 4,600 nominated companies for its special entrepreneurial commitment.

Managing Director Fabian Baur and Marketing Manager Patrick Oelze accepted the award in Würzburg. The award evaluates companies holistically, including business administration, innovations and social role. The competition is organized on a voluntary basis and privately financed. The selection is made by twelve regional juries and a final jury. Companies can reach three award levels: nomination list, jury list and award list. The five criteria include company development, jobs, innovation, regional commitment and customer service.
