Vision 2021: 1D/2D Code Scanners Simplify Industrial Decoding

The Weblink user interface preinstalled in each scanner enables any user to perform a guided installation and setup of the scanners, even without programming knowledge. Directly after entering the IP address, decoding of codes can be started. The available interfaces such as digital IOs, RS-232, Ethernet TCP/IP, Profinet and Ethernet/IP make it easy to integrate the scanners into systems.

The C5PC series is now available in static focus or autofocus variants, with resolutions of either 0.3 megapixels, 1.2 megapixels or 5 megapixels, and with SD, HD or LR optics. Seven different focus distances are available between 50 and 1,200 mm. With these hardware combinations, 1D and 2D codes can be reliably read and decoded, even if they have been printed, pinned or lasered directly onto the object (also known as DPM, Direct Part Marking).
