Turck has developed inductive sensors for detecting carbon, more precisely carbon fiber reinforced plastic. The sensor family, for which a patent is pending, detects both carbon fabric and pressed carbon parts. It is based on further developed uprox technology and therefore offers high switching distances and installation flexibility - for example for manufacturers of automobiles, wind turbines or sports equipment and their suppliers.
