New test system and extended warranty at Zwick
In October, Zwick invited Roell to the testXpo again - and held a press conference as part of the in-house exhibition. Among other things, the new testing machine generation Allround-Line was presented. This is a flexible system with two test rooms that can be used for testing tasks in quality control as well as in research projects.
Depending on the requirements and force range, the load frame is designed with hollow chamber profiles or columns in different sizes; The greatest possible rigidity and precise crosshead guidance are important design criteria. The height-adjustable work areas enable the test station to be individually adapted. The plug-in and slide system allows the specimen holder and test tool to be changed at any time in order to be able to carry out different measurements with just one testing machine.
Extended warranty
In order to underline the quality of its products, Zwick has also introduced an extended warranty. Since July 2011 it has been offered nationwide in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg and the Netherlands for newly delivered standard materials testing machines or devices. The warranty is extended to a maximum of 60 months with annual inspection and calibration by Zwick Service. The testing machine manufacturer thus assumes all costs for the repairs and the necessary spare parts over the entire duration.
