Call for Papers: EMVA Young Professional Award 2019

The EMVA Young Professional Award is an annual award honoring the exceptional and innovative work of a student or young professional in image processing. The aim of the European Machine Vision Association is to further promote innovation in the machine vision industry, to contribute to the important aspect of image processing discipline, and to build a bridge between research and industry.

In this context, with the EMVA Young Professional Award 2019, EMVA aims to encourage students and young scientists in particular to focus on the technical challenges of machine vision and apply the latest image processing research to the practical needs of the machine vision industry.

Coupled with the honor of the EMVA Young Professional Award and the attention for their own research work is a whole package of services. In addition to prize money of 1,500 euros, this includes free participation in the EMVA Business Conference 2019 in Copenhagen, including all travel expenses, as well as a free ticket to the European Machine Vision Forum 2019 from 04-06. September in Lyon.

The winner of the EMVA Young Professional Award 2019 will be present at the 17th EMVA Business Conference from 16.-18. In Copenhagen, Denmark, where it will have the opportunity to present its award-winning work to European and world-wide image processing executives and press representatives.
