The manufacturer and supplier of optical components has received ISO-13485 certification. This certification formally attests that Edmund Optics has a quality management system that meets user and regulatory requirements for the manufacture of medical device components and assemblies.

Core components of the certified global quality control programme are preventive and corrective actions, advanced measurement platforms and a commitment to continuous improvement.

The company supplies optical components and assemblies for medical applications ranging from fluorescence imaging to flow cytometry to optical coherence tomography and more. These applications use Edmund Optics components such as optical filters, lenses and microscope objectives.
