Hans Beckhoff receives the German Mechanical Engineering Award 2025

Hans Beckhoff was awarded the German Mechanical Engineering 2025 prize for his pioneering achievements in mechanical engineering. Since 1986, Beckhoff has celebrated numerous successes, including the Lightbus optical industrial fieldbus, the modular Bus Terminals and the EtherCAT real-time Ethernet. Its latest innovations, such as the MX system, enable automation without control cabinets. Beckhoff's technologies promote resource-saving production systems through the integration of IT and automation.
The jury praised Beckhoff's social commitment and its philosophy that technology and humanity are not mutually exclusive. Beckhoff has created a corporate culture that promotes trust and creative ideas, and a place where people count.
