The conference program for Embedded World 2024 North America is set. It is organized by the same proven experts as in Nuremberg, but is tailored to the needs of the North American industry.

A highlight of the conference are the keynote lectures. On the first day of the exhibition, Matt Johnson and Daniel Cooley from Silicon Labs will speak about “Technological Breakpoints Reshaping Embedded Systems by 2030”. On the second day, Kate Stewart from the Linux Foundation will speak about “Building for Sustainable Development Goals with Open Source”, as Executive Director Benedikt Weyerer emphasizes.

There will be two panel discussions on the first two days of the trade fair, and a closing panel on the last day. Topics include “Securing IoT Devices: by Design or by Default” (IoT M2M Council) and “Open-Source vs. Commercial Hardware and Software” (OpenSys Media). Other topics include the functional safety of automotive semiconductors (NXP Semiconductors) and the efficient use of AI resources (tinyML Foundation).

In addition to the conference program, visitors can participate in “Build your Own Embedded Systems” courses. These hands-on workshops, led by engineers from leading embedded vendors such as Analog Devices, NXP and ST Micro, offer over $2,000 worth of training and technical support. The courses are organized by OpenSystems Media.
