Laser Compoents USA: new general manager appointed

The industrial engineer has been with Laser Components USA since 2006. In 2016, he became sales director. Overall, Robinson has been in the photonics industry for more than 30 years. Prior to Laser Components, he was a product manager and sales manager for Corning Inc. and Schott AG. Throughout his career, he has built a reputation as an expert in pulsed laser diodes, avalanche photodiodes and IR components, and LiDAR technology.

Laser Components was founded in 1982 as a one-man company and is now a group of companies with sales offices and manufacturing facilities on both sides of the Atlantic. Laser Components USA, Inc. has been responsible for sales, marketing and distribution in North America since 2000. Its broad portfolio includes IR components, photodiodes, pulsed laser diodes, laser modules and laser optics. All these products are manufactured to customer specifications within the group. The range is supplemented by components from selected suppliers around the world.
