Marco Altherr appointed CFO at Ziehl-Abegg

Marco Altherr will take over the position of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) at Ziehl-Abegg in May. The experienced financial expert will provide the company with strategic support during a growth phase. Altherr brings with him extensive experience from international industrial companies, which will be of great value to Ziehl-Abegg.

After completing a banking apprenticeship and a degree in business administration, he held senior financial positions, most recently as CFO at Freudenberg Performance Materials. Ziehl-Abegg is currently in a phase of strong expansion with investments in new plants, including a major project in the USA. Dennis Ziehl, Chairman of the Supervisory Board, emphasises the importance of experienced managers for sustainable growth. In addition to traditional CFO tasks, Altherr will also be in charge of IT and HR and will complement the Executive Board team of Joachim Ley (CEO) and Wolfgang Mayer (CTO).
