New board of directors elected

VDMA working group laser and laser systems for material processing fills leadership positions.

At the autumn meeting of the ‘WG Laser’, the chairman and deputy chairman of the board of directors were confirmed and new members were elected.

Dr Hagen Zimer, member of the management board and CEO laser technology at Trumpf, and Nikolas Meyer, head of sales and industry management and member of the executive board at Weil Technology, were newly elected to the board. 

Dr Christoph Ullmann was confirmed as chairman of the WG Laser and Dr Stefan Ruppik was confirmed as his deputy.

The newly elected board of directors is made up as follows:

  • Nikolas Meyer, Weil Technology GmbH
  • Dr Stefan Ruppik vice president and general manager high power CO2 lasers and profile welding systems, Coherent
  • Dr Christoph Ullmann, general manager, Laserline GmbH
  • Dr Hagen Zimer, Trumpf SE + Co KG
