Rollon builds new plant in Italy

The new plant in Agrate, north-east of Milan, adds additional production capacity to the two existing production sites in Arcore and Vimercate.

In the future, Rollon will produce linear guides, telescopic rails and linear axes for the European market on an area of 5,000 square meters. The machine park is currently being set up. In addition to new acquisitions - including CNC machining centers - there are also relocations from the other two plants. Among other things, the plants for the hardening process from Vimercate and processing machines from Arcore will be relocated to Agrate.

The new plant in northern Italy is part of an innovation and investment strategy that Rollon has been successfully pursuing for years. In order to be able to react to the worldwide increased demand for linear technology and the specific requirements of the markets, the specialist for linear motion systems continuously invests in new locations, machines and employees. In the past year and a half, the Rollon Group has grown by a production site in the USA (acquisition iMS), a good 130 employees and new products such as the Cobot Transfer Unit.
