Sensor + Test: The organizer draws a positive conclusion
After the three days of the trade fair, the exhibitors at Sensor + Test 2023 and the organizer AMA Service draw a consistently positive conclusion from the event.
A total of over 5,000 trade visitors from Germany and abroad found their way to the Nuremberg exhibition halls, around 20 percent more than in the previous year. At 338, the number of exhibitors was slightly below that of the previous year, with the proportion of exhibitors from abroad rising again significantly at 40 percent. The Sensor + Test has once again confirmed its position as the leading international event for sensor, measurement and testing technology.
After three eagerly awaited days, the measurement technology trade fair Sensor + Test closed its doors. 338 exhibitors, over 5,000 visitors and almost 700 participants at the SMSI 2023 – Sensor and Measurement Science International Conference found their way to Nuremberg and contributed to the success of an intensive innovation dialogue on an exhibition area of 5,400 m2.
With 133 exhibiting companies from 26 countries, the international popularity returned to the values of the time before Corona, as did the proportion of visitors from all over the world at 27%.
A job lounge was part of the action program for the first time this year. Here, over two days, Sensor + Test exhibitors presented their topics related to human resources to an interested audience. The program was rounded off by the job exchange and the Career Center, so that recruiting was given more space at the fair. The "Job Lounge" offered a new format that was intended to enable even more targeted contact between specialists and companies.
Sensor + test 2024
Next year, the Sensor + Test will take place from June 11th to 13th, 2024 in Nuremberg. The organizer plans again with two complete halls. In addition, the trade fair is to be expanded to include an application area and various themed areas where visitors can obtain even more targeted information.
