SPS connect: Virtual extension of the SPS

SPS Connect will accompany the SPS in Nuremberg from 24 to 26 November 2020. This enables automation specialists who cannot travel or who can only be on site for one day to participate in the trade fair throughout. In addition to a lecture program, the focus here, as at the trade fair in Nuremberg, will be on networking all participants. Here, an AI supports the SPS visitors in reaching contacts either immediately or at a desired time.

This digital meeting point is also available after the event, so that all participants can continue to access important content in addition to the exchange of experts.

"With SPS Connect we are creating a virtual platform for the entire SPS community. Due to the Corona Pandemic, some of our participants, especially those from outside Europe, cannot attend the exhibition in Nuremberg. Nevertheless, there is a need to find out about the latest innovations and trends in the automation industry, to exchange ideas with experts and to find suitable products and solutions for your own company. Our aim at both SPS in Nuremberg and SPS Connect is to bring people together and thus contribute to the urgently needed economic upturn," says Sylke Schulz-Metzner, Vice President SPS.

Virtual lecture program is oriented to the trade fair on site

Thematically, SPS Connect is oriented towards the contents of the trade fair in Nuremberg. The current trends and innovations in the field of automation are the focus of the program. This includes product presentations by exhibitors and also keynotes, specialist lectures and panel discussions from politics, business and industry. In subsequent live Q&A sessions, the audience can also put their questions to the speakers or take part in discussions. A link to the exhibitor profiles enables all participants to engage in a personal exchange even after a presentation. In addition, presentations from the trade fair forums and live impressions from the analogue trade fair will be broadcast.
