This cooperation aims to expand the product range with components that offer high-quality drive solutions and improved energy efficiency. The agreement, signed on May 22, 2025, covers the development and supply of gearboxes for EM-A synchronous motors. The partnership strengthens Mitsubishi Electric's position as a provider of integrated drive solutions and addresses the growing demands of the European market for energy efficiency and sustainability.

Tramec's reputation and proximity to the European value chain were decisive factors in the partnership. Efficient drive solutions are becoming increasingly important in light of the net-zero challenge, as electric motors account for 70% of industrial electricity consumption. OEMs and end users benefit from stable speed control, higher energy efficiency, and reduced operating costs.
