Visiconsult X-ray Systems & Solutions and Diondo have signed an agreement that enables Visiconsult to acquire the majority stake in the CT specialist. Diondo has been developing and manufacturing industrial computer tomography devices, including software, used for non-destructive testing and metrology worldwide for nearly 30 years. The products are targeted for high-end CT applications.

At Visiconsult, Diondo's CT systems will be incorporated into the VCxray business unit, which currently includes the ECO-Line, PRO-Line and X-Line series. Diondo is to become the center of excellence for CT technology within Visiconsult. Close collaboration at the development level is expected to enable the seamless integration of Diondo into Visiconsult's x.OS ecosystem.

Jason Robbins, Head of Sales at Visiconsult, sees immediate benefits for customers: "Diondo's CT technologies are a perfect complement to our own broad portfolio."

"We are delighted to welcome our new diondo colleagues to the Visi family. Together we look forward to a promising future where we can push the boundaries of what is possible," says Lennart Schulenburg, Managing Director of Visiconsult.
