Ziehl-Abegg is optimistic about 2025
After a difficult year in 2024, in which sales fell by 7 percent to 893 million euros, Ziehl-Abegg starts 2025 with positive prospects.

In particular, the construction of new data centers in the US and Asia is driving an increase in orders. Despite a decline in Europe and Germany, where sales fell by over 20 percent, business grew in the Americas and Asia. The ventilation technology division contributed 90 percent of sales. Ziehl-Abegg stuck to its strategy of regional development and production without layoffs. The number of employees rose from 5,000 to 5,300, mainly abroad. 2024 was marked by investments, including a new plant in the USA and production facilities in Vietnam and Poland.
These investments require strict cost discipline. For 2025, Ziehl-Abegg sees growth potential in the increasing demand for energy-efficient solutions for data centers, particularly in the US and Asia. CEO Joachim Ley emphasizes the company's global growth readiness.
