Camera with extended swir wavelength range

Photo

The camera manufacturer is launching four Goldeye Swir camera models equipped with InGaAs sensors with extended spectral sensitivity and capable of detecting wavelengths up to 1.9 μm or 2.2 μm with high quantum efficiency. The integrated two-stage sensor cooling (TEC2) and various on-board image correction functions make specific spectral features visible with high image quality.

Goldeye XSwir cameras make material properties visible in the wavelength range above 1.7 μm. Sensitivity in the extended infrared range allows more spectral features to be detected to better distinguish between different materials. This is particularly important for sorting applications or for determining material concentrations in composite materials. Main application areas are for example: waste recycling, detection of water content (moisture), identification of foreign objects or contaminants and laser beam profiling. The Goldeye XSwir models cover a wavelength range from 0.4 μm (Goldeye VSwir) to 2.2 μm (Goldeye XSwir).
