Energy handling for drives

Photo

The electronic devices push the energy either from the drive to the storage units, for example during recuperation of braking energy, or vice versa, for example in the event of a voltage interruption.

Two types are available: PxtFX with integrated electrolytic capacitors and 40 amperes maximum current, and PxtRX in particular for double-layer capacitor modules with a maximum of 60 amperes. Storage units are either further electrolytic capacitors as PxtEX, or double-layer capacitor modules released by Koch.

With the PxtMX, the system can be integrated into the world of fieldbuses. In addition, peak load reduction or input current limiting of the drive is possible via Plug&Play.

Plug-on module for current-based mains load peak reduction via Plug&Play

Plugged onto an electronic device of the Pxt family, the supplied current measuring sensors for the three phases and the ampere-exact maximum value for the mains current are entered and it is already ensured that the energy required for load peaks of the machine comes from the active energy management system and not from the mains. The measuring and thus control range of the PxtMX extends to over 100 amperes.
