The BMW Group remains a long-term partner, underlining its confidence in idealworks' technology. Founded in 2020, idealworks offers a comprehensive robotics ecosystem with the automation platform AnyFleet, the simulation software iw.sim and the autonomous mobile robot iw.hub, which is in use at over 850 BMW production sites worldwide.

The CEO of idealworks, Michael Alexander Schneider, sees the acquisition as an important milestone for the scaling of the robotics ecosystem and international expansion. The collaboration with Agile Robots strengthens both companies in the global industrial automation market and promotes the spread of next-generation robotics by making industrial processes smarter and more efficient. Customers benefit from continuity, reliability and innovation.
