New ASi-5 / ASi-3 addressing device

Bihl + Wiedemann GmbH

In order to easily integrate ASi participants of all generations in the field into ASi networks, Bihl + Wiedemann has developed a modern ASi-5 / ASi-3 manual addressing device. As with its ASi-5 / ASi-3 gateways, the company relies on full compatibility, which means that the addressing device can be used for all ASi-5 modules as well as for all modules of earlier ASi generations - and that with the same standard Workflow.

The new ASi-5 / ASi-3 addressing device is optimized for the simple addressing of ASi-3 and ASi-5 modules. The device is fully charged in approx. 30 minutes, and a charging time of just 10 minutes is sufficient to assign ASi addresses (ASi-3) and subscriber numbers (ASi-5) for 70 ASi modules using the addressing cable included in the scope of delivery.

Thanks to its very low self-discharge, the handheld addressing device is still ready for use even after months of storage. A standard USB-C connection is also integrated in the new ASi-5 / ASi-3 addressing device.
