Realman opens data training center for humanoid robotics
28.08.2025 - The company has opened a data training center for humanoid robotics in Beijing to accelerate the transition of robots from laboratories to everyday life and industry.
Covering 3,000 square meters, 108 robots are used in realistic scenarios such as elderly care and automotive production to generate over a million high-quality data points annually for AI models. The center addresses three weaknesses in robotics: lack of data generalization, gaps between simulation and reality, and lack of standardized data formats.
Eric Zheng, director of the center, emphasizes the need for improvements in usability, standardization, and cost efficiency to make robots suitable for everyday use. Realman is introducing the RealBOT Open Platform to collect high-quality data and improve human-robot collaboration. The center promotes collaboration between industry and academia and aims to accelerate the global adoption of humanoid robotics.
