The winner of the EMVA Young Professional Award 2022 has been chosen

Work on the subject of automated industrial anomaly detection convinces the jury

17.05.2022 - Karsten Roth has won the EMVA Young Professional Award 2022.

The doctoral student in the Explainable Machine Learning group at the University of Tübingen was able to convince the jury with his work on the subject of automated industrial anomaly detection. As part of his research work, a novel automated visual anomaly detection method - PatchCore - was developed that meets all the key criteria.

The location of the EMVA Business Conference 2023 was also announced at the ceremony. It will be held in Seville, Spain, to celebrate the federations' 20th anniversary.
