Camera with global shutter and 127 megapixels

SVS-Vistek

SVS-Vistek presents the SHR661 with 127 megapixels and global shutter. It is based on the Sony Pregius IMX661 sensor with a pixel size of 3.45 µm edge length.

The SVS-Vistek cooling system allows a wide temperature range during operation. The thermal management ensures an even temperature distribution on the sensor and a homogeneous image at high dynamic range. Despite the large sensor, the camera has a small, integration-friendly housing. The 3.45 µm pixels are not critical in the selection of suitable lenses. And the resolution of 13,392 x 9,528 pixels uses the global shutter to reproduce the finest structures, even with moving objects.

The sensor's data rate of up to 2.2 GB/s requires modern, fast interfaces. By using the CoaXPress 12 interface, the SHR661 transmits up to 17 frames/s, in the variant with 10GigE interface it reaches 6.5 frames/s.

Industrial cameras with high resolutions such as the shr661 benefit from Flat Field Correction and Defect Pixel Correction, which the user can also adapt to the respective scenario. The SHR661 can be operated with 8, 10 or 14 bit color depth. At all color depths, the camera achieves high image homogeneity.

The I/O framework with multiple inputs and four power-out outputs supports precise triggering as well as sequencers and logical operators. The power-out outputs with the built-in strobe controller can directly drive LED lighting. The GenICam interface with GenTL interface allows easy integration into all major machine vision software packages within minutes.
