Functionally and in terms of control technology, the SD4x series of frequency converters offers the user further improvements compared to the predecessor series SD2x. The main advantages for the customer will be the improvements in control technology and the Ethernet-based bus systems. The new 32-bit processor is up to five times faster, allowing for higher resolution and more accurate calculations. Thanks to the multi-protocol chip for the Ethernet-based interfaces established on the market and helpful additional functions such as a real-time clock, the SD4x devices are prepared for the future. Existing customers will continue to be able to use the SD2M.
