The web app facilitates the selection and compilation of industrial lenses and accessories for automated optical inspection or quality and completeness control, for example in the semiconductor, electronics, food, pharmaceutical or cosmetics industries. This significantly simplifies and accelerates the development of high-performance optical systems. The lens configurator with its clear graphical user interface is freely available to users without registration. However, with registration they can also save projects and access them again flexibly on a mobile basis at a later date. MachVis uses object size, working distance, sensor size and camera connection to determine the optical parameters and the optimum lens configuration, including the necessary mechanical accessories such as focusing units and tube systems. The app also generates data sheets, component lists, design data and 3-D drawings that can be downloaded and shared as files.
