Comp-Mall

The new Mini-ITX mainboard KINO-KX from Compmall has either the Zhaoxin KX-U6580 or KX-U6780A onboard. Both variants are 8-core processors with 8 MB cache and 2.5 or 2.7 GHz clock frequency.

The new Mini-ITX mainboard KINO-KX from Compmall has either the Zhaoxin KX-U6580 or KX-U6780A onboard. Both variants are 8-core processors with 8 MB cache and 2.5 or 2.7 GHz clock frequency. The processors come from Zhaoxin Semiconductor Corporation, a Shanghai-based company that designs X86-based CPUs.

There are benchmarks for the KX-U6780A that place the 16 nm processor with the Intel Pentium J5005 in terms of performance. This means that the KINO-KX can be used primarily for machine and system control, especially when many USB and RS-232 interfaces are required to connect sensors and actuators. This bypasses hubs and eliminates a source of error from the system. But the KINO-KX is also an option in the areas of surveillance, PoS and kiosks. The operating temperature of the Mini-ITX mainboard is between -10 ° C and 60 ° C.
