Miniaturized CO2 sensors available

Sensirion AG

Sensirion is now offering its miniaturized CO2 sensors through the sales network. The series consists of the CO2 sensors SCD40 and SCD41. Both sensors are based on the photoacoustic measuring principle and the patented Pasens and Cmosens technology from Sensirion, which enables a small sensor size in combination with high performance.

The SCD40 offers an accuracy of ± (50 ppm + 5% of reading) at 400–2000 ppm, while the SCD41 has an accuracy of ± (40 ppm + 5% of reading) at 400–5000 ppm. In addition, with its low-power mode, the SCD41 is perfect for applications with limited energy budgets.
