New version of a data analysis software

imc Test & Measurement

05.09.22 - The data analysis software IMC Famos receives an interface to the widespread programming language Python.

It allows users to access many freely available sources from the Python developer community: Tried and tested algorithms already coded in Python can now be integrated into IMC Famos and data can be further evaluated, transformed and visualized. With the option of accelerating calculations through targeted parallelization, the new version uses current multi-core PC hardware. Furthermore, the new version offers an improved FFT function for spectrum analysis, which now overcomes restrictions regarding the permissible block sizes, which pays off for cleaner control of the frequency linewidth, for example. The expanded group functions also enable simple and structured execution of complex analysis functions on entire groups of signals or variables.
