Universal Software for Deep Learning, 2D and 3D Image Processing

29.07.2022 – The PC-based image processing software for optical inspection, Vision Commander Gen V1.5, supports 2D and 3D cameras as well as scanners from a wide range of manufacturers. The software can perform up to eight inspections in parallel in separate viewing windows.

The results of the inspection are stored in real time in an SQL database. The database enables detailed analyses and data tracing in production. A flexible statistics module also provides an overview of the current quality status in production. With the internal product management, product-specific measurement and inspection characteristics can be created. All characteristic data is automatically transferred to the internal statistics and database module after each inspection cycle.

Furthermore, Vision Commander supports deep learning tools and is therefore suitable for surface inspections, object recognition, classification of objects and crack detection. The software can perform up to eight inspections in parallel in separate viewing windows.

Another feature of the image processing software is the fast processing of 3D data. The 3D functions also include the import and export of various 3D formats as well as multi-sensor calibration, which enables scanning with multiple sensors.

With the add-on software VC Data Analyzer, inspection results can be displayed on rework stations or separate workstations.
