Nina Claaßen wants to increase visibility of AT

30.06.2022 - The northern German camera manufacturer Automation Technology has promoted Nina Claaßen to Head of Marketing. This is a step on the way to expanding the company's internal and external communication channels.

Nina Claaßen has been working in marketing at Automation Technolgy (AT) for two and a half years. In this role, she initially redefined the company's corporate identity and revised its branding. She also worked to improve communication channels and thus create more transparency. As head of marketing, she now focuses on strengthening AT's visibility.

"For me, transparency forms the basis for effective and conducive collaboration," Claassen explains. She says that contact with press colleagues at the trade magazines is also particularly close to her heart. Having worked as a journalist herself for more than 15 years in the capacity of senior editor at Funke-Mediengruppe and as press spokesperson at ADAC, she has a wide-ranging network of contacts from every industry, which also benefits her time and again in machine vision.

"At AT, we are very close to numerous application stories, as our 3D and infrared cameras are used in every sector worldwide. As a result, we always have exciting stories to tell and can show our customers directly how our components make the most sense for them to use. The marketing team thus also forms an enriching interface for our sales department," says the native of Lower Saxony.

Head of Marketing is also CHO

Daniel Seiler, Managing Director of AT since March 1, 2022, adds: "With Nina Claaßen, we have brought someone onto the management team whose work has a decisive influence on almost every department - both professionally and personally. Our marketing management not only moves AT forward as a company, through her empathetic manner she contributes a great deal to the appreciation of each individual employee." In the team, she therefore bears the honorary title "CHO": Chief Happiness Officer.

Next goals of the AT marketing team are now to increase video and webinar production and to strengthen the company's visibility. Since 2022, the company has again increased its presence at trade shows. In addition, newsletters and press releases are sent out at regular intervals. In addition, Marketing significantly expanded its social media presence, so that news from AT appears almost daily, especially on Instagram, Xing and LinkedIn.
