Hans Beckhoff was awarded the German Mechanical Engineering Prize 2025 for his pioneering achievements in mechanical engineering. Since 1986, Beckhoff has celebrated numerous successes, including the Lightbus optical industrial fieldbus, modular bus terminals, and the real-time Ethernet EtherCAT. His latest innovations, such as the MX system, enable automation without control cabinets. Beckhoff's technologies promote resource-efficient production systems through the integration of IT and automation.
