Polytec takes over distribution of Micron Optics

The manufacturer of optical metrology solutions Polytec takes over the distribution of the products from Micron Optics, a US manufacturer of optical sensors based on fiber Bragg technology. The company was recently acquired by the US company Luna. Since Polytec has been taking over Germany for Luna since 2006, it was natural to extend the cooperation to Micron Optics.

Micron Optics optical instruments are used in infrastructure, energy, transportation, medical and industrial applications. Polytec now offers application consulting, feasibility studies, sales and service for Luna and Micron Optics products in Germany.
