Machine vision software in new versions

MVTec Software

14.09.22 - MVTec is presenting the new versions of its machine vision software products Halcon and Merlic at Vision, both of which will be released this fall.

Merlic 5.2 will be released on October 20, 2022. With the new version, users can also quickly put together complex complete solutions without having to write a single line of code. In addition, users benefit from always being able to work with the latest deep learning technologies.

The current example in Merlic 5.2 is the deep learning-based tool "Detect Anomalies in the Global Context". What is special: The new technology "understands" the logical content of images and thereby recognizes new variants of anomalies. The feature is interesting for every branch of industry in which, for example, completeness checks, quality inspections, defect detection or print inspections have to be carried out.
