Creaform brings Italian automation company on board

QFP becomes integrator for Creaforms 3D metrology in Europe

11.02.2022 - 3D measurement technology from Creaform is now also being marketed by the Italian automation specialist QFP. It integrates it into its robotic 3D scanning solutions.

QFP is active in the fields of metrology, reverse engineering and related product design. Regionally, the company covers the entire European continent from its offices in Padua and Spoleto in Italy. Now, the metrology specialists have become Creaform's "strategic partner" for automation activities in Europe.

Customized 3D scanning solutions with Creaform's R-Series as a base

Starting with Creaform's solutions for automated quality control applications, the R-Series 3D scanning solutions, QFP can adapt this standard product for customized applications. The Qbox Evolution is designed to meet the specific needs of customers. Possible modifications include:

  •     Layout changes,
  •     additional axes and
  •     the addition of contour elements such as automatic support devices,
  •     integration into production lines,
  •     additional control cameras,
  •     automatic loading/unloading systems.
